Along with some stellar vintage wheels, stay a while and enjoy live music, entertainment, 35mm films and of course delicious food (like ham), all happening along the Franklin and Pine Streets in Avondale Estates.

Show off your classic car and help raise money for cancer at the same time at the Classic Car Cruise for Cancer on May 13. This police-escorted classic car tour begins with coffee and pastries, followed by a drive through the beautiful North Georgia roads. The cruise arrives at the Chukkar Farm Polo Club, where you can enjoy lunch and a sculpture garden tour, and ends back at the Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta.

Help support local nonprofit programs around Mableton and South Cobb County while showcasing your sweet ride at the Car Cruise-in happening at Mableton Day on May 14. Along with the Car Cruise-in, this event includes a 5K race, live entertainment, food and craft booths and a Kid's Corner. Whether you own a classic car, or just like to look at them, this is a not-to-miss event that's fun for the whole family.

Come on down to the Georgia Mountain Classics Car Club Show on May 14, which takes place in beautiful Downtown Blue Ridge. In this judged event, classic car owners and enthusiasts from all around the region will show off their classic and vintage cars. After the show, stick around from 6 to 8 p.m. for the Cruise-in happening at the Blue Ridge Dairy Queen.

As the main event of a special three day weekend, the Atlanta Motoring Festival happening on May 14 is one not to miss. At this event, you have a chance to see hundreds of one-of-a-kind classic and vintage cars not often seen at car shows, all while enjoying a delicious meal and dancing at the Chukkar Farm Polo Club. Proceeds go to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

If you own a classic car, bring it down to Cadillac of Lake Lanier on May 21 to help raise money for America's VetDogs, an organization that helps provide PTSD service dogs, hearing dogs and guide dogs for veterans who live with disabilities. Place a jar in front of your car while showing off your ride. Spectators will give money to the cars that they like best, and at the end of the show all the money will go to America's VetDogs. Don't forget to partake in the BBQ, burgers and hot dogs!

Creeper's Car Club Show and Fun Run. 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 11. The Creeper's Car Show takes place on June 11 in Marietta, which will feature some of the best classic, vintage and sports cars, a swap meet, music, food and a fun run. Money raised will benefit the Special Olympics of Georgia, Cobb County and the Children's Miracle Network.
