Sunset Sessions Season Finale

If you've been snoozing on Park Tavern's free summer concert series, this season-ending three-day weekend is the perfect time to check it out. Come out to the parkside bar and restaurant for a night of music from North Mississippi All Stars, Brother Hawk and Danielle Nicole. The event is for ages 21 and up (although younger music fans can attend with their parents), and Park Tavern offers seasonal cocktails and late-night specials for concertgoers. Chuckles for Children

Monday Night Brewing (670 Trabert Ave NW, Atlanta)

Grab drinks, crack up, and do good with a fundraiser benefitting Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta. Hosted by the Friends Junior Committee, the comedy event makes for the perfect weekday date night, after work drinks with coworkers, or a night out with friends. This event, organized by North Fulton Community Charities, is a fundraiser for programs and services offered to low-income families in Fulton County. The Avondale brewery behind the fast-rising, yellow-canned Emergency Drinking Beer is doing its part to lend a hand in real emergencies, too. Its Emergency Chickin Pickin' will feature chicken braised in Emergency Drinking Beer and smoked to perfection by the folks at nearby Pine Street Market. Tickets cost $30 and all proceeds go to The Giving Kitchen, an organization that provides assistance to Atlanta restaurant workers who are facing an unexpected hardship. Cocktails and Cuties: A Singles Night

Single and ready to mingle? A night at Aurora Theatre might just change that. Prior to the playhouse's production of "Singles in Agriculture," a play based on the love story of two lonely farmers, single locals are welcomed to enjoy tasty bites, cocktails and a DJ with fellow metro Atlantans looking for love.
