Plan it, plant it: 5 spring plant sales, events in Atlanta

Spring is in the air, and you'll soon see its presence in your garden, thanks to the many spring planting events taking place around town.

From azaleas to hostas, hydrangeas to maples, you can make your landscape stand out this year with a little planning and some help from local gardening clubs and organizations.

With Atlanta all in bloom, you don't want to miss out on all the fun. Stock up on plants, flowers and trees for your spring garden at some of these not-to-miss planting events:

Experience the Roswell Azalea Festival in its fourth year, which will include plant sales, a farmer's and artisan's marketplace, many garden tours throughout town, family activities, performances, road races, bike rides and more.
