If you love international cuisine and foreign films, you’re in luck.

After taking a brief hiatus in January, the Buford Highway Foreign Cinema series will return on Feb. 26 at Himalayas Indian Restaurant. The 1982 Bollywood film “Disco Dancer” will be screened as guests enjoy food from a buffet.

“Disco Dancer” was directed by Babbar Subhash and stars Mithun Chakraborty. The film tells the story of a street performer that becomes a disco dancer.

Event founder Marian Liou said when she was initially inspired to pair foreign films with international cuisine she immediateley knew Buford Highway had just the right variety of restaurants to host the series.

Buford Highway Foreign Cinema is the product of a collaboration between We Love BuHi and Videodrome.

The series kicked off in November 2015 at Canton House with a showing of the 1994 film "Chungking Express." The following month, "In The Mood for Love" was screened at the same restaurant. Both films were directed by Wong Kar-wai.

The buffet will be open between 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. Vegetarian options will be available. Wine and beer can be purchased at an additional cost.

The film will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for this event can be purchased through Eventbrite.
