The annual festival returns with a long list of films being shown at theater venues throughout Atlanta, as well as guest speakers and special events such as Young Professionals Night. Ticket prices start at $12 for matinee screenings.

WWE NXT | Feb. 1-2

WWE NXT will tape episodes of its WWE Network program on Feb. 1-2 in Atlanta. Expect to see NXT Champion Andrade "Cien" Almas, Mae Young Classic winner Kairi Sane and many more of your favorites. Matches start at 6:30 each night, and tickets start at $75.

"Don Quixote". Various times. Feb. 2-10

Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway, Atlanta.

Atlanta Hot Chocolate 15k and 5k Road Race | 7:40 a.m. Feb. 4. Georgia World Congress Center, 285 International Blvd. NW, Atlanta.

After running this USATF-certified event, you'll be treated to some nice goodies, including free race photos and a quarter-zip long sleeve technical jacket. You'll also get a city-specific medal and keychain as well as a mug loaded with hot chocolate and fondue. The first wave of runners starts at 7:40 a.m., with the second starting at 8:25 a.m. Registration for the 15k costs $79, and the 5k costs $54.

Sips Under the Sea. 7 p.m. Feb. 9

Georgia Aquarium, 225 Baker St. NW, Atlanta.

Celebrate Valentine's Day early at a Cupid's Crush-themed Sips Under the Sea at the Georgia Aquarium. Small plates and sweet cocktails will be served as romantic tunes are played, with the aquarium's amazing creatures as the backdrop. Tickets start at $28.95 plus tax for non-members general admission and $48.95 plus tax for non-members VIP admission.

North Atlanta Home Show. 6 p.m. Feb. 9-11

Infinite Energy Center (formerly Gwinnett Center), 6400 Sugarloaf Pkwy, Duluth.

The 21st annual Home Show has expanded to include outdoor living and offers seminars and exhibits on topics including landscaping, flooring, windows, patios and more. Tickets are $8 for adults and free for children 12 and under, senior citizens 65 and over with valid ID and military (active and retired) and first responders with valid ID.

Mardi Gras Streetcar Adventure. 6 p.m. Feb. 10

209 Edgewood Ave. SE, Atlanta.

Mardi Gras comes to Atlanta in February, so put on your costume and ride the streetcar to the Atlanta historic district of Edgewood Avenue, Fairly Poplar District and Centennial Olympic Park. You can stop at participating bars, restaurants and attractions along the way and enjoy specials. The fun runs from noon to 6 p.m., and you must be at least 21 to attend. Tickets are $19.99 through Feb. 6 and $24.50 afterward.

Festival of Laughs. 8 p.m. Feb. 10

Philips Arena, 1 Philips Drive, Atlanta.

Spend the evening laughing your worries away with a lineup of comedians that includes Sommore, Earthquake, Bruce Bruce, George Wallace and Don DC Curry. The show starts at 8 p.m., and tickets start at $59.

African-American History Tours of Oakland Cemetery. 1:30 p.m. Feb. 10, 13, 17 and 22. 248 Oakland Ave SE, Atlanta.

Hour-long guided walking tours will be held in Oakland Cemetery's African-American Grounds throughout February. Along the way, you'll see the burial places of some of Atlanta's African-American pioneers. Tours begin at the cemetery's bell tower and are held at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 10, 13, 17 and 22. There's no charge for the tour, but you'll need to register in advance because space is limited.

AnachroCon science-fiction (and more) convention. Various times, Feb. 16-18

Wyndham Atlanta Galleria, 6345 Powers Ferry Road NW, Atlanta.

AnachroCon has a Viking Age theme, and it explores Steampunk, science, history, music, sci-fi, literature and more. Feel free to cosplay and attend events such as a quiz show and seminars like how to cosplay on a budget. With membership tickets are $65, $75 general admission at the door, including i panels, performances, ConSuite events and room parties. Day passes are also sold on site starting at $20, depending on the day.

Oysterfest. 1 p.m.Feb. 17. Park Tavern, 500 10th St. NE, Atlanta.

Midtown's Oysterfest features tons of – you guessed it – oysters, served raw, steamed and fried, with cocktail sauce and crackers. If you're not an oyster fan, you can come for the fried shrimp, live music from local bands, beer and other beverages. Oysterfest starts at 1 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m., and tickets are $15 for a limited time.

2018 Flower Show. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 23-25

The Atlanta Botanical Garden, 1345 Piedmont Ave., Atlanta.

The Atlanta Botanical Garden's 2018 Flower Show has thousands of beautiful and fragrant plants in its indoor show that are featured in a juried competition. You can also explore the Garden's winter landscape and its Orchid Daze exhibition. Entry is included with Garden admission, which is $21.95 for adults, $15.95 for kids ages 3-12 and free for kids under 3. Member admission is $10, and the show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Cupid's Undie Run. 2 p.m. Feb. 24

Big Sky, 3201 Cains Hill Place NW, Atlanta.

Hope for warm weather when you run in your underwear through the streets of Atlanta and enjoy a party, all to support charity. The run is brief – pun intended – and lasts about 15 minutes. Even if you're not comfortable running around in your undies, you can don a costume and join in the fun. The event starts at noon with the run getting underway at 2 p.m. It costs $40, and you must be 21 and over to participate.

Monster Jam | 7 p.m. Feb. 24, 3 p.m. Feb. 25

Mercedes-Benz Stadium, 1414 Andrew Young International Blvd. NW, Atlanta.

Monster Jam brings its larger-than-life trucks – and plenty of adrenaline and dirt – to the floor of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Expect lots of noise and excitement in a show that's popular with all ages. Tickets start at $20.

Best of the West Wine & Food Festival | Feb. 25

Vino Venue, 4478 Chamblee-Dunwoody Road, Dunwoody.

Discover the best wines and cuisine from the West Coast one sip and bite at a time at Vino Venue on Feb. 25 from 3-5:30 p.m. Wines from key regions of California, Washington and Oregon will be served along with samplings of cuisine from live chef stations. Tickets are $69 per person for unlimited samples of cuisine and nearly 100 wines, and group rates are available.
