Asha Gomez’s New Spice to Table
Spice to Table, a new breakfast-and-lunch restaurant and retail concept from chef Asha Gomez of Cardamom Hill and The Third Space, is set to open in November in Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward Studioplex development. Look for "globally inspired cuisine, as well as an open market filled with retail for purchase, including spices, sweets, bottled sauces, preserves and much more." Greater Good Barbecue at Chastain
From the team behind Fellini's Pizza, a second location of Tucker's Greater Good Barbecue has opened next to La Fonda Latina on Roswell Road near Chastain Park in Atlanta. The menu features a la carte meats, sandwiches and sides, plus combo plates with beef brisket, pulled pork, half and full racks of ribs, and smoked chicken by the quarter and half size. Foundation Social Eatery update
Originally called Foundation, and slated to open in Inman Park, the new restaurant from chef Mel Toledo, Foundation Social Eatery, is set to open late this year in Roswell. According to a news release, it will be "a rustic new American restaurant, blending a post-industrial vibe with a pre-industrial approach to food — seasonal, local and handcrafted." Cook Hall Buckhead beer dinner
Buckhead gastropub Cook Hall is hosting its first-ever beer dinner on Oct. 22. Part of Taste of Atlanta's Tuesday event schedule, the family-style four-course feast will feature large-format, limited-edition beer pairings from four different American craft breweries.
