Sometimes, it's hard being a member of the Beyhive.
While Beyonce and Jay Z enjoyed downtime in New York City Monday in between legs of Beyonce's Formation World Tour, a fan decided to shoot their shot and try to take a selfie with Queen Bey.
But her rapper husband, Jay Z, was having none of it, according to BET.
TMZ got video of the fan attempting to take a photo with the star as the couple left the SVA Theatre after the premiere of "Hands of Stone," a biographical film about Panamanian boxer Roberto Duan.
The fan was able to get a few seconds next to the star before Jay pushed him away. The pair's security guard took over and asked the fan to back away.
