Tyler, the Creator has dropped several new projects recently, including an album and clothing line. On Monday, the music artist and producer announced an unusual yet fresh project that made many mouths water — his own minty ice cream flavor.

On his Twitter, the 28-year-old posted "I made an ice cream" to his more than 8 million followers. The "Snowflake" ice cream flavor, a two-toned ice cream that mixes the flavors of sweet spearmint and cool peppermint swirls with crunchy white chocolate flakes and a touch of sea salt, will be released online July 6, according to entertainment site Uproxx. The "Igor" rapper, whose real name is Tyler Okonma, referred to the partnership as "Golf le Fleur* x Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream," which is an ode to his popular clothing line of the same name.

He explained his desire to create a new ice cream flavor in his tweet:

“As much as I love white chocolate chip cookies, I can’t get over the fact that someone made the universal rule that they always have to come with those useless macadamia nuts. For as long as I can remember, mint ice cream seemed to always come with every chocolate chip but white. I finally got the two away from their clingy friends and set up a play date for my mouth.”

His fans were elated about the new sweet treat from the musician, who just released his chart-topping album “Igor” in May. Many were not surprised by their favorite artist opting to use his creativity for ice cream.

The Snowflake flavor will be released for online purchase at 7 a.m.  EST Saturday, July 6. The ice cream will be sold here as a package deal, which includes a pint of the ice cream and a Snowflake T-shirt by Golf Wang. For those who would like to meet their ice cream before the "play date" in their mouths, Jeni's locations across the country will stock Snowflake in stores Monday, July 8, Uproxx reported.
