Rumors are flying that Tom Cruise, 51, has been secretly dating fellow Scientologist Laura Prepon, a 34-year-old actress who plays a lesbian drug dealer on the series "Orange Is the New Black." (Pagesix.com)
Various media outlets, including the San Jose Mercury News, have picked up the story, claiming it's true.
But Cruise's camp denies it. Cruise's publicist reportedly told US Weekly that the two "see each other at functions, but they are not dating." (USMagazine.com)

This is not the first time that Cruise's publicist has reportedly denied the two are dating. In fact, Cruise's representative has reportedly told some media outlets that the two have not even been introduced. (huffingtonpost.com)
The first rumors -- and denials -- popped up last fall, after a British magazine described a purported date between Cruise and Prepon.
"The British magazine Grazia reported last fall that Cruise, 51, picked up Prepon, 34, in a vintage car and had a bottle of 1979 merlot waiting on the table when they arrived at the Manor Hotel for dinner." (MercuryNews.com)
Keep in mind that Grazia suggested last month that Katie Holmes, the mother of Cruise's daughter Suri, was ready to reconcile with Cruise, but that rumor was not broadly repeated and seems to have fizzled.
