Seales made her debut as a permanent panelist Jan. 6 as Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai, Loni Love and Adrienne Houghton welcomed her. See the video of the outspoken star's introduction here.

“I remember at the end of the first two weeks, I looked up and was like, ‘Oh, wait. I was myself for this whole two weeks and I really didn’t, like, have to think about anything,’” Seales shared of her guest co-hosting stints. “We are in a business and in a town where you’re being scrutinized so much... It’s really just dope to come into a space where I felt like there was four women who I get along with on and off screen and we may have different personalities and we have different points of view, but that’s the world; that’s what it is. So to be able to have the honor of bringing my voice into that means a lot to me.”

Seales' joining of the cast wasn't exactly a secret. Rumblings had emerged in recent weeks that she was joining the talker for good amid rumors that Love was getting the boot. But Love put that to rest when Seales walked onto the revamped set and Love exclaimed she's "still here."

The actress and author's addition to the show follows Houghton, Mai, Mowry-Housey and Love's three-year stint as a four-woman panel. When the program hit airwaves in summer 2013, singer Tamar Braxton was a host. But by 2016, Braxton exited the series. Braxton claimed she had been "stabbed in the back" by her former co-panelists. Yet by June 2019, the star apologized to the current hosts. She said in part in a since-deleted Instagram post, "Please forgive me. I didn't know love to show you love."
