And in April, Netflix users will have to bid farewell to movie favorites such as “The Pursuit of Happyness,” “American Pie” and the beloved “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”

A handful of “Batman” flicks are also soon to disappear, along with Christopher Nolan’s thriller, “The Prestige.”
