If you thought "EyeCon" was an optometry summit, you will be pleasantly surprised to hear it's actually a fan con devoted to nearly two generations of Atlanta tweens, all grown up, and ready to meet their favorite CW stars.

EyeCon Genesis is indeed coming to Atlanta from March 17-19 at the Renaissance Waverly, 2450 Galleria Pkwy, Atlanta. And it is indeed a convention for fans from the fictional  town of Stars Hallow − "Gilmore Girls," "Gossip Girl" and "90210" − the new version.

The convention will arrive to metro Atlanta on the hills of the Netflix revival of “Gilmore Girls.”

"The three (shows) we've chosen were among the most requested themes, all similar in style and crossing fandoms," according to a statement on Eyecon's website.

Appearances include Gilmore Girls' Scott Patterson, Yanic Truesdale, Keiko Agena, and Matt Czuchry, along with Gossip Girls' Ed Westwick and Kelly Rutherford and, representing the remake of 90210 that ran on CW, Matt Lanter.

"We've put together a new, very special event and hope attendees enjoy having three shows under one roof," said Kenny Smith, promoter for the EyeCon Genesis. Based out of Florida, EyeCon has hosted 22 conventions in Los Angeles, Wilmington, Chicago and Orlando since 2006. Atlanta’s version of the convention gives the convention a new twist with the “genesis” moniker to represent the convention’s first appearance in Atlanta.
