The wickedly soapy Lifetime hit “Devious Maids” is set to launch a new season at 10 p.m. Sunday. The show is set in Beverly Hills but filmed here, and we visited the metro Atlanta set the other day.

While "Devious Maids" has filmed on location in Buckhead, much of its work takes place in its Stone Mountain area studio, and cast member Mark Deklin, who plays the mysterious Nicholas Deering, showed us around.

“I always like characters who have layers,” he said. “Any time the character description has many secrets, I think, ‘cool.’ I like layers that can be revealed.”

The series starring daytime legend Susan Lucci, with "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry and star Eva Longoria as executive producers, revolves around wealthy elites and their domestic divas and the many secrets shared between them, class barriers notwithstanding.

Deklin's character is a "charming but mysterious millionaire (who) has fallen in love with Marisol (Ana Ortiz)," according to his bio on Lifetime. "After meeting at a bookstore and dating for three short months, the two have become engaged. Nick was previously married to a woman named Dahlia, who took her own life, but the circumstances surrounding her death remain a well-guarded secret."

Deklin likes the show’s smart and saucy vibe.

“I love that it’s bodice ripping with a wink. It has the Marc Cherry stamp on it,” he said. “The fun about this show is you don’t know what is next.”

Robert Redford spotted in Buckhead

Robert Redford is in Atlanta to begin work on "A Walk in the Woods." The legendary, Oscar-winning actor and Sundance Film Festival founder will team up with Nick Nolte for the project.

"After spending two decades in England, Bill Bryson (Redford) returns to the U.S., where he decides the best way to connect with his homeland is to hike the Appalachian Trail with one of his oldest friends," is the plot, per imdb.

Redford dined Sunday night at Davio’s in Phipps Plaza in Buckhead. He and his two guests sat outdoors and enjoyed the nice weather.

Bubba Watson’s scattered, covered celebration

Bubba Watson celebrated his second Masters win at — where else? — Waffle House. "Champ dinner," he posted with a photo of himself and his crew packed into a Waffle House booth. Watson, who finished with an 8-under to win his second Masters Tournament in three years Sunday at Augusta National Golf Club, became emotional at the end of the tournament.

“It’s a dream to win and winning any tournament is a big deal,” he said afterward. “Winning the green jacket is a little bit bigger deal. So, yeah, I’m going to cry.”

Soon after his win, he thanked fans on Twitter “for the support, encouraging words and congrats that have poured in this week! I feel incredibly blessed.”

Then it was off to the House for some hashbrowns.
