Actress Shannen Doherty on Friday shared a photo of a sweet gesture she received from some complete strangers.
For the last year, Doherty has had a very public battle with cancer. In recent weeks Doherty has posted more frequently about her illness, and has received an overwhelming amount of support from her fans.
During a recent visit to a local Cheesecake Factory, Doherty was surprised when she asked for her check. Instead of getting a bill, she received a note from a nearby couple who had covered her tab in an effort to thank her for being so open with her fight.
“Thanks for your bravery and your openness,” the couple wrote.
“God bless you and your family.”
“They didn’t care about a thank-you for picking up my bill,” Doherty wrote of their kindness.
“They simply wanted to do something nice. I convinced the waitress to nod to who did it.”
That is when Doherty met Rian and Lloyd a couple she wished were more numerous in the world.
"Your kindness blew me away today. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You both deserve a very blessed life.#luckygirl#peoplecanbewonderful," Doherty wrote.
