The secret is out — sort of.

“RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race,” a spinoff of the long-running reality TV series “RuPaul's Drag Race,” now has a premiere date, but the superstars involved are being kept under wraps.

The four-part event series, which is hosted by RuPaul, who performed in Atlanta in the 1980s, will air at 9:30 p.m. Friday, April 24 on VH1, the network announced Friday. The new program will follow-up the Emmy-winning “RuPaul's Drag Race” and its behind-the-scenes show, “Untucked,” will move to 11 p.m.

The celebrity edition of the show was initially titled "RuPaul's Celebrity Drag Race," Deadline reported. But now, it seems discovering the stars' identities may be a main portion of the show, much like Fox's "The Masked Singer."

“‘RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race’ is a blast,” executive producer RuPaul said in a statement. “We put these celebrities through it! Because no matter how famous your charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent is, you still put your pantyhose on one leg at a time.”

During the reality series airing through May, viewers will have to watch to find out which music, film or comedy star will be competing. Three stars will embrace drag each week by transforming into bona fide queens strutting down the runway.

They won’t be alone on their journey, either.

“Queen Supremes” and “Drag Race” alums like Alyssa Edwards, Bob the Drag Queen and Nina West will be on hand to guide them.

The stars will also compete in fan-favorite challenges for the chance to win prize money to donate to their chosen charity. At the end of each episode, RuPaul will decide who earns the title of “America's Next Celebrity Drag Race Superstar.”
