The Golden Globes:  seemingly the golden opportunity to guess the wrong winner.

Like when "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's" Rachel Bloom beat out Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Lily Tomlin and Gina Rodriguez for Best Performance by an Actress in a Musical or Comedy.  Or when Taraji P. Henson topped everyone in the Best Actress in a TV Drama Series for her role as Cookie Lyon in "Empire."

There were several other first time winners, including Lady Gaga for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series for her role in "American Horror Story: Hotel."

Jon Hamm also cashed in his last chance to win an award for his role on "Mad Men," winning the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a TV Drama.

"Mr. Robot" hacked its way to some trophies, too. The series won Best TV Drama against fan favorites like "Game of Thrones," "Empire" and "Narcos." Christian Slater also took home the Globe for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.

Amazon's "Mozart in the Jungle" picking up two pieces of hardware. One for it's star, Gael Garcia Bernal for Best Performance by an Actor in a Musical or Comedy, and the other for Best TV Series, Comedy.
