Circus fans in Atlanta are preparing to say farewell to"The Greatest Show on Earth” this month after Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus announced that they’d be closing permanently in May.

The circus is just one of several noteworthy events that will take place in metro Atlanta this week.
