The weekend is over, but there’s no reason to be sad.
There are plenty of things to do in Atlanta during the work week.
Here are five suggestions for things to do before Friday arrives:
“Chihuly in the Garden”
Glass installations from Seattle artist Dale Chihuly will return to the Atlanta Botanical Garden for an encore presentation at the end of April.
“Chihuly in the Garden” will feature 20 installations, composed of hundreds of pieces of colorful glass. Three installations were created specifically for the Atlanta exhibit.

Rihanna
Unwind from work and head to Philips Arena to see Rihanna.
The Barbadian entertainer will bring her island-infused brand of pop to Atlanta as a part of her “Anti” tour. If you’re looking for a high-energy show, this is a good one to attend.
Known for songs such as “We Found Love” and “Work,” the rebellious singer has more than enough hits to create a party atmosphere at her shows.

Movies in the Park
Enjoy the company of your friends, tasty snacks and a popular movie this season. Atlantic Station kicks off their annual movie series this month.
Enjoy millennial classic "Mean Girls" in Central Park at Atlantic Station on May 19. The film is scheduled to start around 9 p.m.

Tony Rock
Looking to add some laughter to your week? Comedian Tony Rock, known for his roles in shows such as “Everybody Hates Chris” and movies such as “Hitch,” will headline a series of shows at the Atlanta Comedy Theater this week. Starting Thursday and going through Sunday, the actor will try out a few on his jokes on the Atlanta crowd.

Free Yoga classes
Unwind with a free yoga class this Tuesday. Presented by King of Pops, the class will take place at 7 p.m. in Old 4th Ward Skate Park. It is open to beginners and experienced participants.
