Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves are being excellent to the fans of the “Bill & Ted” franchise.
They announced Wednesday that after their excellent adventure, and a bogus journey, they have to face the music.
Winter and Reeves made the announcement on social media that “Bill & Ted Face the Music” will start filming this summer and will be in theaters in August 2020.
Apparently, Bill and Ted are middle age and still best friends looking for adventure, BuzzFeed reported. If you remember the original film, released in 1989, they were the pair that gave hope to humanity and the future with the saying "Be excellent to each other" and their eventual hit music as Wyld Stallyns.
But in “Face the Music,” they have not yet become the inspiration they’re destined to be.
They get back on track with the help of family, old friends and music legends, according to the synopsis posted on BuzzFeed.
"Face the Music," the third movie in the series, will be directed by Dean Parisot from "Galaxy Quest" and both Winter and Reeves will reprise their roles as Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted "Theodore" Logan, Entertainment Weekly reported.
