It’s officially summer in Atlanta. With the dusting of yellow and warmers temps comes picnics and potlucks. The one dish that seems to appear at both regularly is the incredible, edible deviled egg. For chef Mark Breault, the executive chef of Proof and Provision and the Georgian Terrace hotel, each week is a new chance to bring new flavors to deviled eggs.
The team has created Buffalo chicken deviled eggs, which incorporate Buffalo sauce into the traditional mix of the yolk and are topped with a small piece of fried chicken; a basil pesto deviled egg; and a bacon ranch deviled egg that was particularly popular, Breault said.

This Midtown spot has been making waves with their seasonal cocktails. When you want something to nibble on while exploring the drink menu, they have you covered. The Seven Lamps and Cypress Street alum that opened Grain have filled the menu with small bites like oysters, and of course, deviled eggs.
Their version is a customer favorite and made with dijon, salami, shallot, sorghum, and country ham — giving them a bit of a kick. And at only $5, you don’t have to share.

This Vinings spot is part deli, part retail and part bistro. The menu is filled with all sorts of goodies like their Ham & Eggs. Their take on deviled eggs includes remoulade, Pine Street Market’s serrano ham and chives. There’s a bite of onion and the saltiness from the ham. They are wonderful. You can also order them at Eleanor’s,the speakeasy found behind the cooler door, so you can nibble on these while sipping on a bourbon cocktail and gabbing with friends.
King + Duke

When you visit Buckhead's King + Duke, the smell of roasting meats come from a kitchen featuring a large, open hearth. That kitchen is putting out thick steaks and whole chickens. Who doesn’t love a hidden restaurant, away from the noise? 1Kept is Buckhead’s answer to that. Tucked off of Peachtree Street, it’s intimate and quiet. A great date spot. One of the dishes that keeps us coming back time and again is their deviled quail eggs. The miniature goodies are nestles on a bed of arugula and topped with bacon jam. Yeah, bacon jam….
