Aside from scattered thunderstorms on Saturday, the weather in Atlanta will be perefect for going out and enjoying summer with loved ones.

Whether you're looking to take in a ballgame or attend a festival, or you're hoping ot escape the heat indoors with a play, we have some great ideas for how you should spend this weekend.

Here are five things to do in metro Atlanta before you head back to work on Monday:

Food trucks in Atlanta

If you're sitting at your desk watching the clock for the end of your work week, there is one thing you can do to hold you over. Head to Midtown's Woodruff Arts Center where food trucks will gather every Friday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Callaway Plaza on the corner of Peachtree & 15th. Three to six food trucks will gather in this area each week until October.

Up to eight food trucks will also gather at the Broad Street Plaza of Five Points MARTA station from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Fridays. Special performances may also occur at this location each week.

Head back to work satisfied and ready to concur the rest of the work day after visiting one of these locations!

Don’t Stop Kissing: A Reading for Orlando

On June 24, more than 30 artists are expected to give special readings of poetry and prose at the main branch of the Dekalb County Public Library. Hosted by Poetry Atlanta and the Georgia Center for the Book, the event is titled “Don’t Stop Kissing: A Reading for Orlando.”

#DontStopKissing became a popular hashtag on social media following the Orlando shooting, which took place at Pulse nightclub. According to early reports,the father of the shooter said his son had become upset a few months prior to the attack when he saw two men kissing in Miami.

"The Wizard of Oz"

The classic “Wizard of Oz” production will visit the Fox Theatre this week, bringing popular characters such as Dorothy and Toto, classic musical hits, and a few life lessons to the historic stage.

Old Fourth Ward Arts Festival

Historic Fourth Ward Park will host a two-day festival this month. Up to 150 artists will display their work in various mediums at the Old Fourth Ward Arts Festival while attendees dine on festival food and listen to live music.

Flo Rida at Turner Field

Flo Rida will take the field to perform hit songs such as “My House” following the Braves’ game against the Mets on June 25  The rapper’s Top 40 hits will certainly create a party atmosphere at Turner Field, so head to the game with friends, grab a beer and get ready for a fun Saturday night.

The concert is free with the purchase of a game ticket.
