The attorney of Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, released the following statement on his behalf Wednesday:

"Nick has been trying, privately; to do everything he can to see Bobbi Kristina cooperatively.  He has respected the family's wishes and for that reason alone has not returned to the hospital and risked a public confrontation.  But he desperately wants to be with the one he loves and continues to hope that his request will be granted."

Brown, 21, was rushed to North Fulton Hospital after she was found unresponsive, face down in a  bathtub full of water, officials said.

WSB-TV reporter Jessica Jaglois spoke to a source inside the hospital in the following days about her condition.

Her source said that Bobbi Kristina’s immediate family, including Whitney Houston’s sister-in-law and best friend, Pat Houston, are in an area separate from other loved ones. The family has since denied the rumors of any family tension.

They are trying to hold out hope, but the source says it appears Bobbi Kristina was without oxygen anywhere from 5 to 8 minutes.

Brown was on a ventilator in a coma at the hospital, and later moved to Emory University Hospital.

A police report obtained by WSB-TV says 13 officers from the Roswell Police Department responded to the 911 call to her north Fulton County townhouse around 10:30 a.m. for a reported drowning.

The Houston family issued the following statement:

"Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family. As her father already stated, we are asking you to honor our request for privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and we greatly appreciate your continued support."
