Nearly 50 thrifty TV personalities nabbed the same online bargain. The outfit was so popular that many sizes and colors sold out on Amazon.
We all love a good "Say Yes to the Dress" moment, right?
Nearly 50 female meteorologists across the country had that moment after a cost-effective dress was shared in a private meteorologist Facebook group.
The fashion forecasting takes us to this model: a stretch-tunic pencil-sheath dress that comes in seven colors for $23 a pop.
The dress was a hit among the group, and dozens purchased it because shopping for a broadcast wardrobe on a budget is tricky.
Tech Insider revealed the strict dress codes TV personalities must follow while being extremely susceptible to public opinion. They must nix certain patterns, prints, colors and cuts. It's no wonder that many meteorologists nabbed a dress that's affordable, fitting and flattering.
The Washington Post wrote: "It's universally flattering because people are jerks ... the kind of people that will send messages to women after their broadcast ends, commenting on what they were wearing, or the way they did their hair, or maybe just how particularly phenomenal they looked during their weather segment."
But the dress is now in a drought. Looks like our friends at local affiliates started a trend, and many of the sizes and colors will be sold out until after Christmas.
