One of the most interesting additions to this year's TomorrowWorld festival is the presence of a live music stage.

Considering that the event exists to tout electronic music superstars such as Tiësto, Steve Angello, David Guetta, Martin Garrix and Afrojack, it will be interesting to see how much of the crowd is interested in live instrumentation.

The English drum and bass band Rudimental — an energetic quartet who impressed with their opening stint for Ed Sheeran last fall — and Porter Robinson have already been tapped to play the stage.

But fest organizers are holding a contest to find another artist to play the Terminal West-hosted stage on the last day of the Sept. 25-27 event in Chattahoochee Hills.

Visit the TomorrowWorld site (www.tomorrowworld.com/news) for the link to submit an entry. The selected artist will also receive a $500 travel stipend.

In other TomorrowWorld news, the Atlanta Music Project is instituting its first-ever “street team” for the festival.

Interested parties can apply for the team through a program called the Love Tomorrow Pledge. Once a background check is completed, you’ll gain acceptance into the program. AMP will then work with you to complete 24 hours of volunteer work by Sept. 21, and in return, you’ll receive one Full Madness ticket to TomorrowWorld.
