Two years ago, Karen Peck & New River scored their first-ever Dove Award.

This year, the Dahlonega-based Peck (along with sister Susan and Jeff Hawes) earned an impressive quartet of nominations for the 45th Annual GMA Dove Awards, including a run at song of the year for “Revival.”

The group also nabbed honors for Southern gospel song and performance as well as Southern gospel album (also called “Revival”).

Other familiar names on the nominations list include Casting Crowns, Lecrae, Laura Story, Francesca Battistelli and Chris Tomlin.

Atlanta’s Family Force 5 also landed its third career Dove nomination, for rock/contemporary song of the year with “Let It Be Love.”

The awards show, which moved from Atlanta to Nashville, Tenn., last year, will take place at Allen Arena on the campus of Lipscomb University on Oct. 7 and air on the Trinity Broadcasting Network.

This year’s eligibility period ran from May 1, 2013, to April 30, 2014.
