Maryland singer Sheen Righter started playing Hayes' "Wanted" during his set and asked Hayes to join him on the chorus, Taste of Country reported.
He then posted the performanceto his Facebook page, saying that Righter was "killing it!!"
The two took a selfie after the song was done.
Hayes is on tour with Lady Antebellum and Sam Hunt.
