Blues legend B.B. King died Thursday evening at home in Las Vegas. He was 89.

It didn't take long for fans and fellow musicians to take to social media to remember King.

Clapton posted a video on his Facebook page that has quickly gone viral, generating over 1.6 million views.

In the caption, Clapton writes that King was a “dear friend and inspiration to me.”
