Well why would Justin Bieber have any respect for one of the most culturally significant creations in the world?

The Biebs' new music video for his song "All That Matters" has leaked, and it was filmed at the Great Wall  of China. (Via WorldStarHipHop)

A brief history lesson — the Great Wall was started centuries ago and largely constructed by the Ming Dynasty. It has served as border control, is thousands of miles long and is known as a symbol of Chinese strength. (Via Travel Channel)

Or, to Justin Bieber, as a place where you can dance on female tourists, seemingly 100 percent without permission. (Via WorldStarHipHop)

As Vanity Fair puts it — this is not what the Ming dynasty intended.

There’s no word on if the Biebs had a permit to do film the “All That Matters” video there, or if he needed one. We’ll admit, we don’t know the policies.

But, TMZ spoke with a rep for a local Chinese embassy, who said the video will be good for Chinese tourism. We'll see.

Of course the video has also become a comical explanation as to why Bieber was carried up the wall by his bodyguards, which made headlines a few weeks back... (Via New York Daily News)

He was obviously tired from all the casual dancing and half-hearted lip syncing... (Via Celebuzz)

But this apparently wasn't the version of the video we were supposed to see — its director Tweeted the video was only 70 percent ready when leaked. (Via Twitter)

Well, it’s out there now. And that’s all that matters.
