It’s almost time to head back to school, but that doesn’t mean the summer fun has to end.

The Fox Theatre will host a film festival to ensure that families can still spend some joyful, quality time together, even as the homework assignments begin to roll in.

This year’s Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival will allow families to revisit classics such as “The Little Mermaid” and “Jurassic Park.”

Celebrate the 15th anniversary of "Shrek," or the 45th anniversary of "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory," during screenings that are scheduled to take place starting July 21 and lasting until Aug. 27.

Purchase tickets for each screening, with the exception of "The Little Mermaid," in advance for $10 by visiting www.foxtheatre.org or calling 855-285-8499. Tickets are $12 on the day of the show.

Guests are encouraged to dress up as royalty and take photos with a mermaid princess before watching “The Little Mermaid” and participating in a sing-a-long during the movie on Aug. 27. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the show.
