As the stars get ready to hit the red carpet for the 2016 Oscars, others are using #oscarssowhite to continue to speak out on Twitter.
The hashtag comes from frustration over the lack of diversity in Oscar nominees each year.
Bette Midler in particular made a pointed tweet about the event Sunday night, drawing in the buzz that Leonardo DiCaprio may finally take home an Oscar.
Disney's "Girl Meets World" star Rowan Blanchard also tweeted displeasure about the award show.
And Shonda Rhimes, creator of ABC hits "Scandal," "Grey's Anatomy" and "How To Get Away With Murder" tweeted this:
