A Montana man who owns a dog sled adventure company sounded off on Facebook about the car accident that part of the Kardashian clan was involved in recently.
Jason Matthews, owner of Yellowstone Dog Sled Adventures, claims that Ashley Warner, a production release coordinator for the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" reality show, contacted him to set up a dog sled adventure for 10 people. According to Last Best News, Matthews claims the Kardashians wanted 50 dogs and five guides for the shoot. The private event was to last half a day.
Matthews provided Warner with a price quote of $3,900.
Warner instead suggested that Matthews accept a payment in trade, which Matthews took to mean free publicity for his company.
Matthews responded by saying that his dogs don’t eat trade. He continued to insist upon monetary payment for his services and the deal fell through.
Matthews commented on his Facebook page that the Kardashian family makes $60 million per year from their television show, but wouldn't pay for his services. The Huffington Post has a breakdown of the Kardashian family income sources, including a $40 million deal over three years for their reality show, which was reportedly signed in 2012. The $40 million figure did not include endorsements.
The Facebook post from Matthews quickly went viral, earning over 6,400 likes.
No one was injured in the accident, which occured after the Kardashians hit a patch of black ice on a highway between Bozeman and Belgrade, according to the Associated Press report.
