Actor Zach Galifianakis is known for putting guests in uncomfortable situations on his Funny or Die web series, "Between Two Ferns."

Now, a week after her opponent for the White House had his hair tussled on "The Tonight Show," Hillary Clinton has herself appeared in the comedian's hot seat.

The Democratic presidential nominee became the first guest in almost two years on "Between Two Ferns."

The one-on-one interview series, which has played host to such names as Justin Bieber, Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron and President Barack Obama, hadn't had a new episode since October 2014.

Clinton – complete with Secret Service agents who foiled Galifianakis' attempt to scare her before the interview began – gave back as much deadpan as she received from the comedian.

When asked by Galifianakis whether she would move to Canada or "the Arctics" in the event of a Trump win in November, she dryly responded: "I would stay in the United States and try to prevent him from destroying the United States."
