If you’ve ever wondered how much influence Gregg Allman has had on the world of music, a concert in January at the Fox Theatre will give you a clue.

Allman will receive the all-star treatment from musical luminaries including Jackson Browne, Natalie Cole, John Hiatt, Don Was and the Allman Brothers Band at “All My Friends: Celebrating the Songs & Voice of Gregg Allman.” The concert honoring Allman, who resides in Savannah, will take place at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 10.

Tickets, which will start at $75, are on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 1.

Producer Don Was will serve as musical director for the concert, which will also include performances from Trace Adkins, Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, Taj Mahal, Keb’ Mo’, Martina McBride, Pat Monahan of Train, Sam Moore, Robert Randolph, Susan Tedeschi, Widespread Panic and Allman Brothers mainstays Warren Haynes, Jaimoe and Derek Trucks.

More artists are expected to be announced leading up to the event.

Allman made a couple of appearances in Atlanta this year, first with Hank Williams Jr. in June and then in September with the Allman Brothers.

The beloved Georgia musician has recuperated slowly from his liver transplant three years ago, but remained a frequent presence on the road. Last year, he shared his life story in his memoir, “My Cross to Bear,” which is being turned into a film with an expected 2014 release.

Tickets to the January concert can be purchased at www.foxtheatre.org, 1-855-285-8499 and at the Fox Theatre box office (10 a.m.-6 p.m. Mondays-Fridays; 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturdays). In addition, tickets will be available at all metro Atlanta Whole Foods stores and select Ticket Alternative outlets.
