PEACHTREE CORNERS

Doggie Tales

Books and dogs make an unbeatable combination for kids who love furry friends but may not be wild about reading. The Peachtree Corners branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library offers youngsters the chance to practice their skills by reading to an adorable pooch during its Doggie Tales session. The docile dogs who willingly listen attentively to any reading level are members of Therapy Dogs International, an organization dedicated to training therapy assistance dogs. This month’s session on Feb. 21 is for children ages 5 to 10.
