“Veggie Tales Live: Happy Birthday Bob & Larry” at World Changers Church International
Bob and Larry, those anthropomorphic vegetables from the animated kiddie program “Veggie Tales,” sprout to life onstage. Expect the duo, along with the rest of the cast, to burst into song and dance, and encourage the audience to do the same. Although real veggies don’t age well, many “Veggie Tales” songs have become time-honored favorites among the younger set. Those who know the lyrics to “His Cheeseburger,” “I Love My Lips,” “The Hairbrush Song” and more should come prepared to sing along.

Northeast Cobb Community Egg Drop at Sprayberry High School
Just as the Easter Bunny hops into view each spring, this over-the-top egg hunt drops every year, literally. A helicopter buzzes above and jettisons more than 90,000 eggs and candy onto the school’s football field. Ages 3 and younger hunt at 11:30 a.m., ages 4 to 7 go after eggs at 12:45 p.m., and ages 8 to 10 go on their search at 1:30 p.m. In addition to the Easter egg hunts, face painting, inflatables and a bounce house will be available. Kids can take unlimited rides in the Fun Zone for $5. Those interested can have a free photo taken with the Easter Bunny himself. Snacks will be available for purchase, which benefits school programs.

“Devolution: An Improv Festival Featuring Relapse Comedy Theatre Company” at Act3 Playhouse
The funny folk from Relapse Comedy Theatre in Atlanta head outside the Perimeter to Sandy Springs for a full evening of off-the-cuff comedy. Relapse favorites, including “Improv! The Musical” and “Astronaut University,” are set to take place. Performance blocks occur at 7, 9 and 11 p.m. Guests can buy a ticket for a specific block or a festival pass and attend all three. Beer, wine and cocktail specials pour throughout the night, and nibbles will be for sale.
