As a public school in a troubled Chicago neighborhood prepares to close, a group of teachers hope an administrator can change the fate of the high school in “Exit Strategy.”
Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre Company is putting on the production at the Southwest Arts Center through March 19.

High Museum Exhibit
Escape reality and head to the High Museum’s newest exhibit this week. “Daniel Arsham: Hourglass” opened over the weekend. The artist’s installation will “give one the sense of being inside a cloud of lavender bubbles,” according to AJC reporter Bo Emerson.

Lumineers
Folk band The Lumineers released their sophomore album, “Cleopatra,” in 2016, but they are best known for the lead single from their debut album. Atlanta fans will get a chance to hear “Ho Hey” and more from the group when they perform at the Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth on March 8.

AJMF International Night
The 18-day 8th Atlanta Jewish Music Festival is already underway but there are still plenty of events to attend before the festival ends.
The festival’s International Night will feature Nick Edelstein and Foad Naraghi, the first winners of the AJMF commission.
