Everything was awesome at San Diego ComicCon.
And trailers premiered during the geek-fest are taking the internet by storm.
Fans of the Lego franchise have a new feature-length film to look forward to: "The Lego Batman Movie."
Will Arnett is back voicing the Dark Knight, while the movie introduces a backstory for his sidekick, Robin, voiced by Michael Cera.

And while plastic toy versions of super heroes are going to hit the big screen, another Marvel movie is getting fans revved up.

A new trailer also was shown during ComicCon for Marvel's "Doctor Strange."
The latest installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular character.
And the women were not forgotten this year, as the trailer for the origin story for "Wonder Woman" was shown during the convention. The movie stars Gal Gadot and Chris Pine.
"Kong: Skull Island" brings the unusually large primate back to life. Tom Hiddleston teams up with Samuel L. Jackson and Brie Larson to bring down the beast.
Larson also announced some news that she will be the MCU's "Captain Marvel."
The world of Harry Potter returned to the convention as Warner Bros. showed a new trailer for "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."
"The Lego Batman Movie" will hit theaters in February. "Doctor Strange" premiers on Nov. 4. "Wonder Woman" will be on the big screen next June. "Kong: Skull Island" will come out in March. Movie goers will have to wait until 2018 for "Captain Marvel." "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will take fans into the world of magic on Nov. 18, 2016.
