Rollergirls rematch will decide who's champ
With monthly sold-out bouts at a new intown location, the Atlanta Rollergirls conclude their most action-packed season yet with this weekend's matchup to determine the 2008 league championship.
In a rematch of this season's inaugural bout, the Toxic Shocks take on the Denim Demons in the main event. The undefeated Shocks, who were last year's league champions, asserted their dominance with a 17-point victory over the Demons back in March. But the Demons have rebounded pretty well and will be looking to redeem themselves, probably in much the same way the Shocks defeated the Sake Tuyas for the 2007 championship after an earlier season loss.
In a grudge match to determine third and fourth place, the Sake Tuyas will take on the Apocalypstix to get the evening started. Whoever wins, fans can expect an estrogen-filled spectacle to end an exciting season.
