Bobbi Kristina Brown remains in hospice care, her family having made the decision to end medical intervention, as new tensions and rumors swirl.
News that someone, possibly an extended family member, snapped then tried to sell a photo of the 22-year-old daughter of singer Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston has caused outrage. Brown told TMZ during a brief encounter outside the Los Angeles airport that the family is seeking “justice” and the latest word is that some members of the family are now prohibited from entering the Duluth facility.
A number of outlets, including TMZ, have reported that someone tried selling them the photo.
Brown performed at a July 4 concert at Wolf Creek Amphitheater. The last time Brown performed, in April in Dallas, he told the audience that his daughter was “awake.” There was no such optimism Saturday. Brown apologized for forgetting lyrics and alluded to his daughter’s ordeal but didn’t mention her.
Meanwhile, his sister Leolah Brown is fulminating on her Facebook page about the supposed sale of the photo:
“I will myself, if no one else does, see to it that you be revealed,” she posted. “We’re going to get to the bottom of this! Whitney Houston is working from the grave through me!”
Bobbi Kristina Brown has been hospitalized since a Jan. 31 medical emergency. After she spent months in several different hospitals, her family had her moved to Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth last month.
“We thank everyone for their support and prayers,” a statement from her aunt and co-guardian Pat Houston said at the time. “She is in God’s hands now.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s conservator has filed a lawsuit on her behalf against her onetime companion Nick Gordon, alleging physical harm and financial impropriety. Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard has said his office will review the case.
