The federal appeals court in Atlanta on Monday handed the Kardashian sisters a legal victory in a longstanding trademark dispute involving a line of cosmetic products.

Kroma Makeup EU, a British company, filed suit in 2014 against KimKourtney and Khloe Kardashian for endorsing a product line named Kroma Beauty. Kroma Makeup contended Kroma Beauty infringed on its previously registered trademark for the name.

According to court records, the Kardashians have claimed they did not know about the Kroma trademark until TMZ published an article about the sisters’ potential infringement. Their skin-care product line was later re-branded Kardashian Beauty.

In Monday’s ruling, a three-judge panel of the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Kroma EU did not have proper standing to bring the trademark lawsuit against the Kardashians.
