The website of Brazil’s biggest news outlet published photos Wednesday it says show pop star Justin Bieber spray painting graffiti on a wall. And it adds that police want to question him about it.

The O Globo newspaper reported that photographers snapped photos of Bieber as he painted graffiti on a wall of the former Hotel Nacional in Rio de Janeiro Tuesday morning.

Defacing buildings is a crime in Brazil punishable by up to one year in jail and a fine.

O Globo said police went to the mansion Bieber rented in Rio to question him, but he was not there.

Tom Cruise is telling a federal court he maintains a close relationship with his daughter Suri despite his divorce from her mother Katie Holmes and a hectic film schedule.

Cruise’s declaration was filed Tuesday in Los Angeles in a defamation case against Bauer Publishing Co. The actor is suing over two 2012 tabloid stories that claimed he had “abandoned” his daughter.

He writes in the two-page declaration that despite filming back-to-back movies after the divorce, he spoke with Suri nearly every day and got frequent updates from Holmes about how she was doing. Cruise’s lawyers are asking a judge to order Bauer to declare it didn’t have any sources to support its contentions about his parenting role.

Bauer’s lawyers argue that a judge should reject Cruise’s motion.

Kanye West's temporarily sidetracked Yeezus tour will kick off again Nov. 16 in Philadelphia. A Wednesday news release from his publicist says West has rescheduled dates in his hometown of Chicago, as well as Toronto and Detroit. He will have to cancel shows in Vancouver, Denver, Columbus, Ohio, Minneapolis and St. Louis due to logistics. The rapper's tour kicked off in Seattle last month but was derailed after a large LED screen used in the production was damaged in a traffic accident on the way to Vancouver. Twenty-three dates remain to be played, most with Kendrick Lamar as opener.
