Are you still trying to decide how you will spend Mother's Day weekend? Don't panic!

Whether you’re looking to enjoy a live show with friends or hoping to enjoy some quality time with the special mother in your life, we have a few suggestions.

Here are five things to do in Atlanta this weekend:

Lauryn Hill

Known for her work with The Fugees and as a solo artist, Lauryn Hill will play Chastain Park Amphitheatre on May 6.

Lounge in the grass with friends or purchase an assigned seat as Hill revisits old favorites from her catalogs such as “Doo-Wop (That Thing)” and “Everything is Everything.”

If You Go: 8 p.m. May 6. $30-$75. Chastain Park Amphitheatre, 4469 Stella Dr., Atlanta. Chastainseries.com.

Cirque du Soleil’s “Kurios”

Cirque du Soleil’s “Kurios” has been entertaining Atlanta residents (and visitors) since March, but all good things must come to an end.

The circus will pack up its big top and leave Atlantic Station this weekend.

If you haven’t seen the show yet, this is the perfect weekend to do so.

From fascinating characters such as Mini Lili, a 3-foot-tall woman who remains inside Mr. Microcosmos’ costume for most of the show, to the beautiful set and costumes, the show is entertaining from beginning to end.

If You Go: times vary. Through May 8. Atlantic Station, 20th Street, Atlantic Station, Atlanta. Cost: starting at $28. cirquedusoleil.com.

Spend time with your mom for free

You don’t have to spend a lot of money to shower your mother with love this Mother’s Day. Zoo Atlanta and the College Football Hall of Fame are just two of the popular Atlanta attractions that are offering free or discounted tickets for moms on their special day.

Sweet Auburn Springfest

Visit the Sweet Auburn District with your family this weekend for the free, weekend-long Sweet Auburn Springfest. The annual festival will feature international cuisine and fun activities for kids and adults.

The weather will be warm and sunny this weekend.

So shop throughout the Historic Auburn Avenue District during the festival, then add a little adventure to your day by getting on the 150-foot-long zip line.

5-9 p.m. May 6; 11 a.m.-9 p.m. May 7; 2-8 p.m. May 8. Free admission. Historic Auburn Avenue District, 230 John Wesley Dobbs Ave., Atlanta. www.Sweetauburn.com.

Treat your mom to brunch

Everyone loves a good brunch. Treat your mom or the special mother in your life to brunch this Mother's Day at one of the AJC's suggested restaurants. Some places are even offering complimentary mimosas and flowers!
