Mogul and legendary lyricist Jay-Z practiced the concept of it’s “better to give than to receive” on his 50th birthday Wednesday by reintroducing his music on Spotify.

For the last two years, Jay-Z’s “Blueprint,” “Reasonable Doubt” and more were only available on his digital music platform Tidal.

Spotify made the birthday gift known by tweeting Wednesday “Happy Birthday, Hov Welcome back to Spotify.”

Jay-Z did not make an official comment about the return, but his fans showered him with thanks for the apparent birthday offering of music on Spotify, which is available to users for free or at a monthly cost for the premium version.
