Three fun things: Sept. 3

Brew With a View at Earl Smith Strand Theatre

Guests flock to these events on The Strand’s rooftop patio, dubbed the Cobb Terrace, for killer views of Glover Park and Kennesaw Mountain. It’s open to the 18-and-older set, and those of drinking age can indulge in beer, wine and cocktails. This time the evening’s entertainment comes courtesy of visual artist Claire Dunaway who’s known to work with charcoal, pastels, encaustic and paint. Other Brew With a View events take place on select Fridays and Saturdays with a special Labor Day edition on Monday, September 6 featuring the music of Jeffrey Bützer.

6-10 p.m. Sept. 3. Free. Earl Smith Strand Theatre, 117 N. Park Square, Marietta. 770-293-0080,

Fish Feeding Frenzy at Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World

Land-locked locals can get their aquarium fix outside the perimeter. Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, an exhaustive outdoor sports shopping complex, has its own massive fish tank featuring aquatic creatures of mammoth proportions. You can take a gander during store hours, but the best time to get up close to the glass and watch the action is at 3 p.m. on Saturdays. That’s when the Fish Feeding Frenzy takes place. It’s a fancy word for lunch time for the finned creatures. Customers can watch as staff members drop the grub into the tank.

3 p.m. Saturdays. Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, 5900 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville. 678-847-5500,
