Atlanta Phoenix Cat Society Cat Show at Lakewood 400 Antiques Market
Cats compete for purr-fection at this annual judged pedigree show. More than 200 felines put their best paws forward. You don’t have to have a pet in the competition to watch. A slew of vendors will be on site shilling cat-themed products for both pets and people.

East Cobb Sports Collectibles Show at Hilton Garden Inn N.W./Wildwood
Sports memorabilia collectors can get their mitts on some coveted goodies. About 30 dealers tables will be packed with collectibles. Both vintage and contemporary sports cards will be on hand. Some dealers will have nonsports cards for sale, including “Star Wars” and other pop culture properties. The autographed memorabilia for sale runs the gamut from jerseys and baseballs to footballs, mini helmets and bats.

Jupiter String Quartet at Spivey Hall
The popular four-piece returns to Spivey Hall as part of its multiweek, multiseason artistic and community partnership with Spivey Hall. This time the group performs two pieces each from Beethoven and Webern. Violinists Nelson Lee and Meg Freivogel team with Liz Freivogel on viola and cellist Daniel McDonough. Those interested in learning more about the minds behind the music can come early for a pre-concert talk at 7:15 p.m.
