The Georgia Museum of Art at the University of Georgia will exhibit the 100 prints Salvador Dali designed to illustrate Dante Alighieri’s "Divine Comedy," officials announced Tuesday.

The exhibit, which will run from April 10 through June 19, is part of a 10-city national tour.

The Italian government commissioned the project in 1957 and then rescinded it following outrage that Dali, a Spaniard, was chosen. Dali continued the project and found a publisher for it.
