The 12th annual AJC Decatur Book Festival kicked off Labor Day weekend with a keynote event featuring NPR host Brooke Gladstone, Washington Post reporter Wesley Lowery and New York Times editor Carolyn Ryan, who discussed the challenges of covering breaking news at the AJC Decatur Book Festival keynote event last Friday. Held at Emory University’s Schwartz Center, the discussion was moderated by AJC editor Kevin Riley.
