Beyonce may perform "Daddy Lessons," a country song on her latest album, "Lemonade," or she may join a country act for a duet, similar to what other pop stars who have appeared at the award show in the past have done.

A combination of both could come in the form of a duet with country trio Dixie Chicks, who sang "Daddy Lessons" at a London tour stop in January. The performance was shared on Facebook by Beyonce.

Beyonce's appearance means she will join the likes of Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake, who have appeared at country music award shows and performed duets with Rascal Flatts at the 2015 Academy of Country Music Awards and Chris Stapleton at the 2015 CMAs, respectively.

The CMAs will air Wednesday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
