BET Awards: Watch Sheila E.'s emotional tribute to Prince

June 27, 2016Several big-name stars – including Jennifer Hudson, Janelle Monae and Stevie Wonder – honored music legend Prince with emotional performances at Sunday's BET Awards in Los Angeles, but singer and percussionist Sheila E. stole the show with her epic tribute.

Prince's former fiancee wowed the crowd with a "Purple Medley" that included parts of "Erotic City," "Let's Work," "U Got the Look," "Baby, I'm a Star" and other hits. Afterward, she lifted her purple guitar and fought back tears.
