Throughout the season, several local spring festivals offer opportunities for families to shop at craft markets. This weekend, Atlantic Station is hosting a craft market that will cater to shoppers who are also looking to commemorate Earth Day.

The mixed-use community will host a series of events this Saturday to help patrons celebrate Earth Day, including an Upcycle/Recycle Craft Fair from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in Central Park.

The craft show will feature vendors who specialize in “re-purposed, recycled and Earth-friendly products,” according to a press release. The market will feature jewelry, clothing, art and more.

Beginning at 10 a.m., representatives from Keep Atlanta Beautiful, Inc. will run several drive-thru recycling drop-off stations where families can recycle paper, Styrofoam, electronics, paint, textiles, metals and glass. Certain items, such as paint, will cost $1-$3 to recycle. Drop-off stations will close at 3 p.m.

Yogis looking to exercise before shopping can participate in a free yoga session, led by Dancing Dogs Yoga and Athleta Atlantic Station, at 10 a.m. in Central Park. All ages are welcome.
